Just a few days ’til sproutage!

Cucumber-seedling1When the packet says it takes up to 10 days, it takes up to 10 days. The plants in the picture there are not mine. I’m getting impatient like we all are when we’re watching for sprouts. There are some African Sumac seedlings come up, which really threw me for a loop because I was so excited to see the tiny cucumber seedlings. But alas, nothing yet.

I wonder which of them will come up first, the cucumber or nasturtium. The Nas seeds have a woody substance on the outside that probably hold moisture really well. Also I just looked on The Farmers Almanac, and both seed types say 7-10 days. Maybe they will all come up at the same time! The cucumbers had a few days of a head start.

I’m recognizing Nas around town now, and they are BEAUTIFUL. I’m super excited, and I think I’ll have to pluck a couple out because of how big they can get. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

As SOON as the seeds pop up I’ll have pictures of my own to show. Even if they’re half way under the soil still.
